Position Summary

The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that our products and services meet and exceed the required quality standards. This role oversees the activities required to meet quality standards, monitors and advises on the performance of the quality management system, produces data, and reports on performance against set indicators.


**This is an on-site position: may be filled in Houston, TX or Mandeville, LA


Job Duties/Responsibilities


Maintain and improve the company's existing QMS. Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation.

Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice quality vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.

Coordinate and actively participate in external and internal audits, ensuring corrective actions are completed in a timely manner.

Lead quality training initiatives to increase team's awareness and understanding of quality protocols. Ensure ongoing compliance with the QMS.

Establish quality requirements and ensure that production meets these standards at all points in the production process.

Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met and lead vendor qualification audits.

Drive continuous improvement activities, which result in cost reduction, process improvements, and increased customer satisfaction.

Investigate product issues to determine the cause and recommend effective solutions to prevent recurrence.

Provide leadership, direction, and management to the quality team, ensuring they are trained, motivated, and equipped to meet their objectives.

This position will also be main point of contact for HSE related activities. Lead member of company HSE committee.

Job will consist of intra-branch travel on a regular basis.


Education/Experience

Comprehensive knowledge of Quality regulations and best practices.

Must have minimum 5+ years' experience working in Quality role; Preferred Bachelor's degree in related field. Working knowledge of ISO Standards and Certifications. Experience with HSE strongly desired. Knowledge of OSHA and other governmental agency requirements and knowledge of safety equipment and standards. Knowledge of QHSE related to oil and gas industry preferred.

Skills/Abilities

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.


Physical Demands & Working Environment

This role requires visits to operational sites, which may involve exposure to various working conditions. May require physical exertion such as walking, standing, and lifting heavy objects occasionally. Travel, including overnight travel, will be required.
