Job Description:

As an experienced roofer, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of various types of roofing systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Installation: Install various types of roofing materials including asphalt shingles, metal roofing, flat roofing systems, and other materials according to industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
2. Repair: Identify and repair leaks, damaged shingles, and other roofing issues efficiently and effectively.
3. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning gutters, replacing worn-out components, and inspecting roofs for potential issues.
4. Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.
5. Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and to the highest quality standards.
6. Customer Service: Interact with customers professionally and address any concerns or questions they may have regarding their roofing needs.

Qualifications:

1. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial roofing.
2. Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of various roofing materials, installation techniques, and repair methods. Basic knowledge of rise, run, slope, span, and pitch.
3. Skills: Proficient in using roofing tools and equipment such as nail guns, shingle cutters, and safety harnesses.
4. Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy materials and working at heights. Must be able to carry a 40 FT ladder; and may be required to lift up to 80 lbs.
5. License/Certification: Valid driver's license or ID.
6. Reliability: Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
7. Communication: Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
8. Transportation: Must have reliable transportation.
9. Background: Must be able to pass a background check, with NO criminal record.
10. Drug Screen: Must be able to pass a 10 panel pre-employment drug screen as well as be able to pass random drug screenings.
