Responsible for the incidental maintenance of the machine such as cone/tip cleaning and maintenance, weld wire replacement, and machine area cleaning
Demonstrates leadership skills/potential
Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules, including wearing required personal safety equipment
Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the pipe fabrication field
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Performs other duties and activities as required
Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
Works under minimum supervision, typically reports to a supervisor
Education
Must attend in-house forklift training and achieve operator certification
Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and previous years of related experience
Technical degree or certificate in robotics is preferred
Basic understanding of tig and mig welding processes would be a plus
Knowledge with electrical/mechanical systems would be a plus
Ability to perform trouble shooting of electrical circuit and systems would also be a plus
