Serves as the top facilities position and manages the Centers operations 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 365 days a year. Hands-on in overseeing the maintenance, modification and protection of all facilities and properties, and equipment necessary to provide a comfortable, healthy and safe environment for all faculty, staff, visitors and employees. Responsible for recruiting, training and developing staff and ensuring that effective performance management standards are met. Manages staff within functional units of Operations and Water Compliance, Plant Operations and Engineering, and General Maintenance. Assists in ensuring regulatory compliance of research animal housing facilities. Collaborates with his or her counterparts on Tulanes Main Campus to not only coordinate capital projects and facilities operations activities, but also to build a partnership between TNPRCs Facilities Services and Tulanes Facilities Services.
