CTG is seeking to fill an Appian Lead Manager & Automation Architect opening for our client in Boston, MA.

Location: Remote

Duration: 12 months

Duties:

• Provide strategic leadership and mentoring to a team of Appian developers, architects, and analysts.

• Define and execute the overall Appian platform strategy and automation roadmap.

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align projects with business goals and ensure successful delivery.

• Design, develop, and deploy complex Appian applications, including custom components and system integrations.

• Lead automation architecture initiatives using RPA or similar technologies.

• Manage multiple projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining high quality.

• Continuously monitor and identify opportunities for process automation and performance improvements.

• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and ensure adherence to best practices.

Skills:

• Expertise in Appian BPM Suite, including Appian Designer, SAIL interface, and Smart Services.

• Deep understanding of enterprise system integration protocols and patterns.

• Proficiency with RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.

• Strong programming knowledge in Java, JavaScript, and SQL.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in roles such as Appian Developer, Appian Architect, or similar.

• 3+ years of proven leadership or managerial experience.

• Extensive background in RPA and digital automation solutions.

• Demonstrated success managing cross-functional teams and delivering enterprise-scale projects.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required.

• Advanced degree preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $130,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
