CTG is seeking to fill an Appian Lead Manager & Automation Architect opening for our client in Boston, MA.
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months
Duties:
Provide strategic leadership and mentoring to a team of Appian developers, architects, and analysts.
Define and execute the overall Appian platform strategy and automation roadmap.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align projects with business goals and ensure successful delivery.
Design, develop, and deploy complex Appian applications, including custom components and system integrations.
Lead automation architecture initiatives using RPA or similar technologies.
Manage multiple projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining high quality.
Continuously monitor and identify opportunities for process automation and performance improvements.
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and ensure adherence to best practices.
Skills:
Expertise in Appian BPM Suite, including Appian Designer, SAIL interface, and Smart Services.
Deep understanding of enterprise system integration protocols and patterns.
Proficiency with RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.
Strong programming knowledge in Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Experience:
10+ years of experience in roles such as Appian Developer, Appian Architect, or similar.
3+ years of proven leadership or managerial experience.
Extensive background in RPA and digital automation solutions.
Demonstrated success managing cross-functional teams and delivering enterprise-scale projects.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required.
Advanced degree preferred.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $130,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
