Job Details

Patient Care:Assists the nurse in collection of data used for assessment of patients' conditions as assigned, including vital signs, weights, blood glucose monitoring, I&O, etc. Assists with the patient's hygiene, nutrition, and personal care needs. Completes documentation of patient related tasks. People and Quality:Ensures patient safety by maintaining a safe environment under the direction of the nurse. Communicates effectively about patient care and needs while on duty. Supports teamwork of the unit in meeting patient needs. Utilizes AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, and Thank You) when interacting with a patient or family. Maintains a clean environment in patient care area. Service:Supports teamwork of the unit in meeting patient needs. Completes patient rounding in accordance with patient assignments and schedule to drive patient satisfaction and safety.
