Position Overview
As a Merchandiser, you help bring the Community Coffee brand to life at the store level. You are responsible for stocking shelves, building displays, rotating products, and ensuring that our merchandise is presented to company and retailer standards. In this role, you represent the brand every day through reliable service, attention to detail, and strong in-store relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Represent the Community Coffee brand in assigned retail locations by ensuring shelves are well-stocked, clean, and organized.
Travel to assigned grocery stores using a personal or company vehicle to complete daily merchandising routes.
Unload products from pallets and transport them to the appropriate shelf or display area using a dolly or cart.
Open, unpack, and stock merchandise on shelves and promotional displays.
Handle damaged or returned items according to store and company guidelines.
Set up shelf tags, promotional signage, and maintain planogram compliance.
Build product displays that promote visibility and drive customer interest, rotating stock as needed to ensure freshness.
Keep shelving and display areas clean and orderly.
Communicate any customer concerns or store-level issues to the appropriate sales or warehouse team member.
Build positive working relationships with store managers and associates.
May be asked to perform additional duties, as necessary.
Position Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Aptitude test eligible in lieu of diploma
At least 1 year of merchandising experience in a grocery, retail, or sales environment preferred.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Experience operating a manual or automated floor jack preferred.
Internal Only: Experience with Community Coffee, even if unrelated, may fulfill this requirement at the discretion of the hiring manager with approval from Human Resources.

Field Sales Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts; in high, precarious places; and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but may be moderately loud in warehouse areas.
