Radiation Therapist Registered (Day Shift 8 Hours)

Key responsibilities include administering radiation therapy in accordance with physician prescriptions, maintaining accurate documentation, performing quality control activities, and ensuring smooth coordination of patient treatments. Your proficiency in handling complex equipment and attention to detail will be essential in providing safe, effective care.

Required Skills:

• Current ARRT registration as a Radiation Therapist
• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology program
• State licensure in radiation therapy and BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Proficiency in Windows applications, keyboard skills, and software specific to radiation therapy workflow
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of radiation therapy concepts, equipment, and safety protocols
• Ability to accurately chart treatment data and maintain documentation

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with Varian systems or similar platforms
• Experience in contouring, patient immobilization devices, and case fabrication

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or a related healthcare field
• At least 2 years of clinical radiation therapy experience, with specific experience in contouring and immobilization preferred

Other Requirements:

• Availability for day shift (8-hour shifts)
• Willingness to adhere to department scheduling needs and flexibility in staffing
• Ability to travel for licensure and certification reimbursements when applicable

This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $64.50.
