Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Shift Hours: 10:30 am - 7 pm or 9:30 am - 6:00 pm. JOB SUMMARY: Performs activities specific to patient safety and mobility under supervision of a licensed PT/ PTA/ OT/ COTA or SLP, or for Registered Nurse while following Progressive Mobility (PM) duties as well as safe and efficient transportation of patients from setting to setting in the acute care setting. Performs designated routine patient mobilization tasks and coordinates daily unit specific patient mobilization activities. Documents Transport functions on Command Center, relays Progressive Mobility Rounds to pt nurse and and works under the direction of PT/ OT/ SLP regarding assistance with therapy per individual pt. Mobility techs also perform additional administrative duties as assigned specific to Progressive Mobility. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School graduate or GED required.
