QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 18 years old & pass a drug screen

• Must be able to pass an annual background check

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Reliable transportation

• Dependable attendance

• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions

• Ability to work overtime and weekends if needed

• Ability to demonstrate basic food quality and safety knowledge (Experience in food manufacturing preferred)

• Basic math skills and unit conversions, and the ability to complete and run reports required

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurate weighing, recording, and labeling work in progress and finished goods, based on sampling schedule

• Checking scales and metal detectors for functionality & accuracy

• Ensure the safety and cleanliness of lab, materials & equipment

• Assist Tank Room Attendant, when needed

• Additional tasks assigned by Team Lead, Supervisor or QA Manager

• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand & walk for long periods of time

• Ability to stoop, bend, reach, use force, carry, push/pull, and lift <50 lbs. occasionally

• Ability to apply manual dexterity and specified visual acuity
