Position Overview: You will play a crucial role in safeguarding our stores by providing undercover, plain clothes surveillance. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying and apprehending shoplifters while creating a secure shopping environment. This role focuses exclusively on discreet, floor-walking surveillance—no risk management, safety, greetings, audits, or inventory duties involved.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete detailed incident reports.
• Review surveillance camera footage to assist in investigations.
• Apprehend shoplifters using safe and professional techniques.
• Stay informed by reviewing BOLOs (Be On The Look Out notices).
• Handle stressful and unpredictable situations with sound judgement.
• Build strong relationships with store management and local law enforcement.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:

• Minimum of one year of previous undercover, floor walking loss prevention experience is required.
• Willingness to travel to multiple stores in your area.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Must pass a motor vehicle record check.
• Successful completion of a background check is mandatory.
• Ability to spend up to 100% of working hours standing or walking.
