Description:

Our next-gen suite of AI Agents and automated workflows streamline the buying process for prospects and automate repetitive tasks for sales teams, driving higher conversion rates and increased NOI. Our unique blend of groundbreaking technology and deep industry expertise have made us the most widely adopted AI toolset in the market, used by over 6,500 communities to generate over $2.8 billion.
The Role

We're looking for a mid-level Operations Specialist to help own and scale the internal systems and processes that keep Further running smoothly. This is a hands-on role with real ownership across tools, workflows, and compliance-related operations.

You'll quickly take responsibility for key systems (including Jira Service Management, Rippling, and reporting tools), support compliance readiness, and drive process improvements that reduce friction as the business grows. You'll work cross-functionally to ensure operational requests are handled efficiently and systems scale with the company.

At Further, Radical Ownership is one of our core cultural pillars and the way we win together-taking accountability, moving with urgency, and delivering results. This role is ideal for someone with prior operations, systems, or technical support experience who's ready for broader ownership in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

This is a 4 days/week, in-office role at our Pencilworks office in Brooklyn, New York.
What You'll Own

  • Own and manage Jira Service Management workflows across all functions including ticket intake, prioritization, SLAs, and documentation.
  • Support and maintain internal systems such as Rippling, Metabase, and Snowflake, ensuring reliability, access accuracy, and scalability.
  • Independently build and maintain SQL-based reporting to support internal teams and leadership.
  • Identify, design, and implement process improvements and automations to reduce manual work and operational friction.
  • Support operational compliance efforts, including SOC 2 readiness, audits, and access control documentation.
  • Partner cross-functionally with all functions to translate operational needs into clear, scalable solutions.
  • Create and maintain clear SOPs and documentation for owned systems and workflows.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
What You'll Bring
  • 3-5+ years of experience in operations, systems, IT operations, technical support, or a related role.
  • Experience owning internal tools or workflows (not just supporting them).
  • Working knowledge of SQL and comfort querying data for reporting and analysis.
  • Familiarity with SaaS tools, access management, and system integrations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and comfort operating in ambiguous environments.
  • Ability to take ownership, prioritize effectively, and follow through independently.
  • Clear communicator who enjoys partnering cross-functionally and documenting processes.
Bonus Points
  • Experience with Jira Service Management, Rippling, Metabase, or similar tools.
  • Exposure to compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, or audit processes.
  • Experience working in a fast-growing SaaS or startup environment.
  • Experience with automation, scripting, or systems integrations.
Compensation Band

Our openings span more than one career level. The starting salary for this role is between $95,000 and $110,000 USD. The provided salary depends on many factors, such as location, work experience and transferable skills, business needs and impact, and market demands.

Equal Opportunity Employer

We hire talented and passionate people from a variety of backgrounds because we want our global employee base to represent the wide diversity of our customers. If you're excited about a role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every bullet point listed in the job description, we still encourage you to apply. If you're a builder at heart, share our company values, and enthusiastic about making software toolmaking ubiquitous, we want to hear from you.

FURTHER is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate in hiring or any employment decision based on race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), marital status, ancestry, physical or mental disability, genetic information, veteran status, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, or other applicable legally protected characteristic. FURTHER considers qualified applicants with criminal histories, consistent with applicable federal, state and local law. FURTHER is also committed to providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans in our job application procedures. If you need assistance or an accommodation due to a disability, please let your recruiter know.
