US FUSION & Specialty Construction
General Description:
A hydroblaster, also called a hydroblaster technician, operates pressure washer equipment for industrial cleaning and construction jobs. The duties of a hydroblaster technician include transporting the hydroblaster to the site and setting up and inspecting the hydroblaster before
each use. A hydroblaster technician must have specialized training to operate the machine safely. Skills and qualifications to be a hydroblaster technician include the ability to conduct routine and required maintenance on the unit and all peripherals, including industrial vacuuming equipment and the disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials. OSHA certification may be required for this job.
Essential Functions:
1. Learn and become proficient in use of all necessary tools to complete job task
2. Operate all hydro blasting equipment
3. Loading/unloading, lifting and moving of materials on site.
4. Responsible for good housekeeping practices on jobsite and in the shop.
5. Adheres to all applicable safety standards
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Cross-train with other departments as needed.
2. Participates in other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Position Requirements
Minimum Experience, Education, and Licensure:
1. High School Diploma.
2. Valid Driver's License.
3. Valid TWIC - OSHA card.
4. Able to gain access to customer jobsites
