Deliver outstanding customer service by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment.
Define service problems, gather data, and logically conclude what work needs to be performed.
Consult with operators to order approved parts when they are not available on the service truck.
Install ordered parts quickly and professionally, adhering to company standards.
Repair electrical equipment, control circuits, and faulty switches while maintaining refrigeration systems.
Conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC systems (both package and split systems) and commercial kitchen equipment, including refrigerators, ovens, and fryers, along with emergency repairs.
Provide in-store training for managers on proper equipment cleaning and daily maintenance protocols.
Identify operational issues that may lead to equipment failures in restaurants.
Manage time and resources effectively to control costs, enhance efficiencies, and respect restaurant commitments.
Complete work orders and inventory checklists accurately.
Keep the service truck organized, maintaining an accurate inventory of parts and tools.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent, alongside HVAC and Refrigeration certifications.
Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
A minimum of 3 years of technical experience in repairing commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, or equivalent formal training/military experience.
Ability to diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration systems and HVAC systems.
Willingness to handle on-call and emergency after-hours duties as necessary to ensure consistent service coverage.
Pass a post-offer pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check to comply with Act 34.
Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with owners/operators.
Self-motivated with a proven ability to prioritize tasks within our established model.
Hold an EPA Universal Certification and CFESA Certification.
Certified to maintain Marshall Middleby and Lincoln ovens.
