Join Our Team as a Retail Merchandising Specialist!

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Merchandiser responsible for product merchandising within large volume grocery stores. As part of our team, your role will include stocking shelves, rotating shelved products, setting up eye-catching displays, and ensuring products in coolers are organized and accessible. You will also manage storage areas effectively while moving products from storage to the sales floor.

This position involves physical activity, including lifting, loading, pushing, and pulling cases weighing between 20-45 pounds, along with bending, reaching, and squatting during merchandising tasks. Enjoy a consistent schedule with specific start times, and the potential for various work schedules as you progress!

Key Responsibilities:

• Merchandise store shelving, coolers, and displays with products at assigned accounts
• Rotate products in the backroom and on the shelf to ensure freshness
• Transport products efficiently between the backroom and shelf locations
• Utilize equipment such as U Boats, hand trucks, and pallet jacks for product transportation
• Display promotional materials such as signs and banners in stores
• Maintain neat and organized backroom stock
• Effectively communicate with store managers and Pepsi management on store issues
• Build strong customer relationships at the store level
• Adhere to operating procedures, including scanning in/out and following designated routes
• Service accounts during scheduled times established by management
• Deliver exceptional customer service through effective communication and attentiveness
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Use handheld devices for order writing/input
• Ensure regular, reliable attendance

Basic Qualifications:

• 18 years or older
• Ability to pass the physical capabilities test (if applicable)
• Must have reliable transportation to access multiple store locations
• Valid U.S. Driver's License
• Proof of insurance

Helpful Experience:

• Prior experience in a retail business or grocery store, such as understanding store operations
• Experience moving products safely within a store environment
• Background in merchandising, including filling shelves and attracting displays
• Knowledge of managing backroom or stock room inventory efficiently
• Experience in serving customers and addressing their needs
