Southeastern Louisiana University's Department of Transportation Services invites applications for the position of Guard. The position is responsible for enforcing university parking regulations and supporting the overall safety and order of campus parking operations. The individual in this position must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. This position reports directly to the Business Manager of Parking Operations. This position is to maintain security of the facilities and grounds of the university by preventing crime and vandalism; or, to maintain traffic and parking control and enforcement of traffic and parking regulations.

Current salary: $12.84/hour

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

No experience or training is required.

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
An applicant who has been convicted of a felony or who is under indictment on a felony charge will be disqualified until relief from the disabilities imposed by state and federal laws is granted.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Applicants may be required to possess a current Louisiana driver's license.
