Role Mission

By combining artistic talent with a passion for animal welfare, the Graphic Designer will help the rescue raise awareness, attract donors and volunteers, and ultimately find loving homes for our dogs.

This role involves developing a wide range of visual content, including promotional materials, social media graphics, website banners, infographics, newsletters, and event flyers. The designer must have a strong understanding of branding and ensure that all designs are consistent with the rescue's visual identity and messaging. They collaborate closely with the marketing teams to create content that effectively communicates the stories of the dogs, highlights upcoming events, and engages the community.

What Winning Looks Like

Key Results Area #1 - Content and Design

• Understand and interpret creative requests to deliver messaging that

aligns with brand voice and objectives.

• Craft compelling and engaging design work for various materials, including

advertisements, websites, social media posts, emails, and internal

Documentation.

• Prioritizes and works within folder structure and organization

Key Results Area #2 - Team Collaboration

• Collaborates with the Creative Team to create quality content (photographers, copywriters, graphic designers and other videographers)
• Collaborate with Creative Team to understand project objectives, requirements, and

brand guidelines.

• Incorporate feedback and make revisions based on team and leader input.

Key Results Area #3 - Commitment

• Follows through on commitment, honoring requested timeline
• Flexible when urgent projects come up such as medical fundraisers

Needed Skills

• Proficiency in graphic design software and tools, including Canva
• Time Management Skills -prioritize tasks and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Creative Thinking - ability to generate fresh ideas while adhering to brand

Guidelines.

• Communication Skills - articulate design concepts and collaborate with

team members in a remote environment

Our Mission

At Path of Hope Rescue we save pregnant dogs and puppies from high kill shelters in the Southern United States.

Our Spokane, Washington based Rescue strives to decrease the euthanasia rate of high risk dogs in the southern United States by transporting pregnant dogs and puppies to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive homes. We do not have a kennel or building location and are 100% foster based. We currently have two paid employees and rely heavily on volunteers and fosters as we work to build out our paid staff roles.

Eliminating euthanasia of dogs in the South by decreasing the amount of dogs breeding unchecked and becoming the number one dog destination in Spokane by capitalizing on Spokanes love of Rescue Dogs.

We are freedom loving American Patriots who love dogs, love freedom and love Jesus.

No NGO status here, we dont take a single penny from the government. We are 100% funded by small donors and our adoption program, with a few small private grants here and there. We built this organization from the ground up in 2018 with $87.

We are built tough and believe that hard work pays off. Were about rolling up our sleeves and taking responsibility for our own actions. We dont do drama. There are no victims here and the system isnt out to get you, the only thing standing in your way is you and your attitude. We reward merit, not DEI or pronouns. At the core of who we are, we love dogs. At PHR you will find people who recognize your dog before they recognize you. Where its normal for your dog to have his own Instagram and people who expect to be invited to your dogs birthday party. We are focused on building a strong, positive community, one dog and one person at a time.

We know dogs are family and should be treated that way. And we are driven by a shared passion to make sure every dog who isnt being loved, finds their way to a family. We care for each other and have created a community of people who love making a difference in this world.
