C.H. Robinson is looking for an execution-driven strategist who transforms business objectives into high-impact, memorable event experiences! As a Senior Events Manager on C.H. Robinson's Experiential & Events team, you will shape and deliver our presence across industry trade shows, conferences, partner events, and hosted client summits. You'll own the full event lifecycle; from strategic portfolio planning and vendor management to onsite execution, lead capture, and post-event performance reporting all while partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, Communications, and other stakeholders to elevate our brand, fuel pipeline growth, and deepen customer engagement. Responsibilities:
- Develop event strategies, objectives, and audience targets; collaborate with Communications, Marketing, and Commercial teams to define messaging, calls-to-action, and desired outcomes
- Maintain and enforce scalable event processes, including toolkits, templates, SLAs, and runbooks
- Manage end-to-end logistics for industry and third-party events: sponsorships and contracts, registrations, exhibit packages, deliverables, hotel and restaurant coordination, customer meeting support, and onsite materials/services
- Oversee booth experience design; layouts, content, demos, AV and ensure brand consistency and engagement
- Coordinate cross-functional staffing plans, including schedules, role assignments, executive preparation, and talking points
- Lead all aspects of hosted client summits, including agenda design, speaker coordination, experience format, venue sourcing, catering, production, and hospitality
- Partner with Sales and Commercial teams on attendee targeting, outreach sequencing, and high-touch engagement moments
- Drive onsite activation and lead-capture workflows (scanners, QR tools, appointment setting), ensuring proper data ingestion and compliance
- Own event budgets through forecasting, accruals, and reconciliation while tracking performance metrics such as lead volume, opportunity creation, and brand impact
- Collaborate with Communications, Marketing, Creative, and Centers of Excellence to develop event messaging, assets, demos, and thought-leadership elements
- Enable field and commercial teams with pre-event briefings, talk tracks, event guides, and structured post-event follow-up plans
- Capture insights and performance learnings, sharing them across the Experiential & Events team to continuously elevate quality, efficiency, and business impact
Required Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 7 years in B2B event management, conference/trade show operations, or experiential marketing
- Proven experience leading participation at industry/third-party events and hosted executive/client summits
- Expert project management; able to juggle multiple events with complex logistics and stakeholders
- Excellent communication and executive presence; comfortable briefing leaders and representing the brand onsite
- Willingness to travel (25%, seasonal variability) and work flexible hours during events
Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, and/or communications from an accredited college or university
- Strong vendor/agency management and negotiation skills; history of driving savings without sacrificing quality
- Data-driven mindset with ROI reporting experience (lead quality, pipeline influence, cost per opportunity)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of Programs
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or technology sectors

Compensation Range $77,200.00 - $122,300.00
