Warehouse Associate Position

Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting a Warehouse Associate for an onsite opportunity in Hammond. In this role, you will play an important part in ensuring freight is received, processed, and delivered accurately and on time. Responsibilities:

• Assisting with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
• Matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing orders for processing
• Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped
• Ensuring the warehouse is organized, accessible, and safe for employee and customer traffic
• Completing all work in a safe manner while adhering to company safety policies and procedures
• Assembling products and assisting with inventory counts as needed
• Taking check calls from drivers to confirm on-time deliveries
• Validating load data prior to marking loads delivered for accounting purposes
• Monitoring daily pick-ups and deliveries to verify loads arrive on time and in good condition

• Minimum Requirements:
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and operational procedures
• Strong communication skills for coordination with drivers and internal teams
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience
• Experience working with drivers and transportation teams

Work Schedule & Details:

• Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday Friday
• Shift: 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
• Location: Onsite Hammond, LA
