The Scrum Master will play an integral leadership role in driving SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) automation initiatives within our organization. This position is responsible for guiding teams through the complexities of automation transformation, enabling efficient, high-quality delivery, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. A central part of this role includes stewardship of the AWM (Asset & Wealth Management) Testing Council, where the Scrum Master will facilitate collaboration, standardization, and strategic decision-making across multiple technology and business units.

Qualifications & Experience
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
Certification : Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent agile certification required. SAFe, ICP-Client, or other advanced certifications are a plus.
3+ years experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach within large, matrixed organizations.
Demonstrated experience leading SDLC automation initiatives (test automation, CI/CD, DevOps integrations, infrastructure as code, etc.).
Hands-on experience facilitating cross-functional working groups or councils (e.g., Testing Council, Automation Guild).
Background in software development, testing, or QA with a solid understanding of the SDLC.

Technical Skills:
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Rally, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git, Selenium, Cucumber, or similar automation frameworks.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, and modern deployment methodologies is desirable.
• bility to analyze data, generate insights, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities
• Scrum Mastery & Team Facilitation: Act as Scrum Master for one or more agile teams focused on SDLC automation, ensuring optimal adoption of agile principles, frameworks, and best practices. Guide the teams through all ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives), remove impediments, and foster a high-performing, self-organized team culture.
• SDLC Automation Leadership: Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and engineering teams to champion automation initiatives across the SDLC, including automated testing, deployment pipelines, and integration with CI/CD tools. Encourage innovation by supporting experimentation and implementation of emerging automation technologies.
• WM Testing Council Leadership: Lead the AWM Testing Council, bringing together representatives from technology, QA, product, and business units. Facilitate working sessions and council meetings, drive consensus on testing strategies, automation frameworks, governance standards, and ensure alignment with enterprise goals.
• Process Improvement: Analyze current processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency. Champion Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging metrics and data insights to measure progress and inform enhancements.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as a trusted partner to Product Owners, team members, and cross-functional stakeholders. Communicate project goals, issues, and progress clearly and transparently. Build rapport and manage expectations with senior leadership, risk, compliance, and business sponsors.
• Coaching & Mentoring: Mentor team members and junior Scrum Masters in agile practices, automation concepts, and change management. Support knowledge sharing through workshops, brown bags, and documentation.
• Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and escalate risks related to automation initiatives and SDLC processes. Facilitate mitigation planning and ensure timely resolution.
• Metrics & Reporting: Define, collect, and report on key agile and automation metrics (e.g., velocity, automation coverage, defect escape rate, deployment frequency), using them to drive accountability and transparency.
• Change Agent: Foster an agile mindset and automation-first culture across teams and stakeholder groups. Advocate for continuous learning, experimentation, and adaptation to new tools and methodologies.
