Job Overview:
This position is for a 10-week internship program (June through mid-August) within the Technology organization. This internship will provide hands-on experience, exposure to real business challenges, and opportunities to develop technical and professional skills. Interns will collaborate within a cohort to complete a relevant Technology capstone project that solves a meaningful business problem, culminating in a final presentation to technology and business leaders
Job Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities
• Contribute towards team projects in one of the four areas: Cybersecurity, Data/Analytics, IT Services & Operations, and IT Project Management Office
• Participate in a cohort-based capstone project, working collaboratively to design and develop a technology solution or outcome
• Attend onsite or remote networking events and/or learning sessions
• Apply classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios in a professional environment
• Present project outcomes and key learnings to leadership at the conclusion of the program
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Education/ Certifications:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in technology-related fields, such as
o Computer Science
o Information Technology
o Data Science or Analytics
o Cybersecurity
o Management Information Systems
o Or related technical discipling
Experience:
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Eagerness and ambition to learn and contribute to a the technology organization
Knowledge/Skills/ Abilities
• Exposure to cloud platforms
• familiarity with agile methodologies or modern development tools
• Microsoft suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) skills and knowledge
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
Work Environment:
Hybrid Role:
• This position follows a hybrid schedule working in office (1-2) days per week. The acceptable split between onsite and remote work is determined by the manager. Hybrid associates may choose to work from an office on a more frequent basis than required.
