JOB TITLE: Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager-IT Software & Services
LOCATION: Foster City, CA (hybrid)
DURATION: 6 month contract to hire
RATE RANGE: $80.76 - $100.96

Job Description:

The Indirect Sourcing Team connects the organization with all of the resources needed to build mobility solutions from the ground up. The team manages the sourcing, negotiation, and execution of contracts and strategic partnerships that enable business operations and growth.

This Strategic Sourcing Manager will help establish, grow, and scale foundational IT software and IT services. You will be given the autonomy and voice to truly act as a strategic partner with cross-functional stakeholders and IT colleagues.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing solutions that bring the broader vision to life and solving go-to-market challenges related to autonomous vehicles and rider experiences.

We are looking for a candidate who enjoys working on projects from start to finish, diving deep to understand engineering and user experience challenges, and partnering closely with stakeholders to think through complex questions at the forefront of autonomous mobility.

In this role, you will:

• Support and guide various departments in the procurement of IT software, hardware, and services
• Focus on CRM, ERP, SaaS, and related procurements to ensure operational scaling and efficiencies
• Support market growth by establishing and maintaining strategic supplier relationships and procurement opportunities
• Guide and inform internal stakeholders regarding supplier selection and management
• Identify sourcing alternatives to drive efficiencies via benchmarking, competitive quotes, and process improvements
• Negotiate cost, terms, and conditions to create a strong total cost of ownership
• Ensure a smooth source-to-pay process by working closely with stakeholders and the finance team throughout the product lifecycle

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 8+ years of experience in strategic procurement, sourcing, indirect category management, contracting, and/or supply chain management
• 4+ years of experience in technology categories, including familiarity with the complexities of tech sourcing (networking hardware, software, services, and associated agreements)
• Strong strategic sourcing, financial analysis, business case development, contract negotiation, and legal framework experience
• Experience drafting and negotiating contracts (reviewing redlines, identifying risks, and proposing solutions)
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
• Self-starter who can provide thoughtful feedback, strategies, and insights to stakeholders and suppliers

Bonus Qualifications

• Master's degree or MBA in a relevant discipline (Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Program Management, etc.)
• Experience in the autonomous vehicle industry, high-tech, or another safety-critical environment
• Experience in an NPI environment and working cross-functionally with PMO or engineering organizations
