We are seeking dedicated Remote Tax Call Center Representatives to provide Tier 1 customer support for personal income tax inquiries. In this role, you'll serve as a trusted resource for callers-guiding them through general and routine tax-related questions with professionalism, empathy, and accuracy.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the first point of contact for personal income tax inquiries via inbound and outbound calls
• Provide clear, accurate information about state tax programs
• Research and resolve routine issues while ensuring a positive customer experience
• Maintain professionalism, patience, and empathy with every interaction
• ccurately document interactions using CRM and call center systems
• Navigate multiple IT systems efficiently to provide timely resolutions

What You Bring

• 3+ years of accounting experience or experience explaining financial information to individuals
• 2+ years of customer service experience, including call center or telecommunications
• 1+ year of computer proficiency, with the ability to work across multiple systems simultaneously
• Experience using CRM platforms and call center software
• Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex information
• U.S. Citizenship (required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Maryland residency strongly preferred
• Coursework in bookkeeping or accounting

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
