Job Title: Customer Service Representatives
Contract: 2.5 Months Contract (Part Time)
Location: Remote

Job Summary
The Customer Service Representative provides support to providers and members by answering calls regarding insurance eligibility, benefits, claims, and service authorizations.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls from providers and members.
  • Provide eligibility, claims, and authorization status information.
  • Retrieve voicemails and respond in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve issues related to claims payment, authorizations, and eligibility inquiries.
  • Create, track, and complete Customer Service Incidents for internal departments to resolve caller issues.
  • Participate in identifying and resolving root causes for recurring issues.
  • Ensure customer needs and concerns are communicated and managed effectively to maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Apply customer service best practices to ensure a positive experience.
  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Education & Professional Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the Health Insurance industry preferred.
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience required.
  • Claims payor experience preferred but not required.

  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced or high-pressure environment.
