Job Summary/Objective
As the Chief Financial Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing the organization's financial assets and liabilities to enhance financial performance, ensure liquidity, and implement effective risk management strategies. This position involves strategicfinancial planning, detailed analysis, and the cultivation of robust relationships with financial institutions to align with the company's overall objectives.
Essential Functions
Financial Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with interest rates, foreign exchange (FX), and credit.
Budgeting & Planning: Lead the preparation of annual budgets, monitor expenditures against targets, and provide both short-term and long-range financial forecasts to guide strategic decisions.
Investment Oversight: Direct the investment of surplus funds to maximize returns while ensuring adequate liquidity levels are maintained.
Compliance & Reporting: Ensure full compliance with financial regulations, tax codes, and internal policies. Generate detailed financial reports for the board of directors and senior leadership.
Strategic Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to the VP of Finance, offering insights into capital structure, financing alternatives, and the financial ramifications of corporate strategy.
