Ochsner Health - - Responsibilities: Greets all patients in to the hospital following department's policies and procedures.; Checks to make sure that patient has physician's order, insurance card(s) and picture identification.; Demonstrates respect and cooperation in all staff relationships, and a genuine willingness to prevent or resolve inter-personal conflicts.; Responds appropriately to questions received from the client and uses communication techniques to ascertain that the client understands instructions.; Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to: respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style.
