Global Financial Firm located in Irving, TX has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Java/React Developer

Pay rate range: $67 .00 - $ 71.00 Negotiable based upon years of experience

Responsibilities:

• Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals and identify necessary system enhancements.
• Resolve high-impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes and industry standards.
• Provide expertise in applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint.
• Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
• Integrate business areas such as architecture and infrastructure to accomplish business goals.
• Provide in-depth analysis and develop innovative solutions.
• Serve as an advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary.
• Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding assets.

• 8-12 years of experience in an Apps Development or systems analysis role.
• Hands-on experience in Java 17, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Design patterns, Microservices, Angular 15, Docker, Kubernetes.
• 3 years of experience in financial services preferred, with experience building technology solutions on an enterprise scale.
• 7 years of experience in large-scale Apps development as a Full Stack developer using modern technology.
• Good working knowledge of source code control tools and technologies is a must.
• Strong fundamentals of OOPS Concepts, Data Structures, and Algorithms.
• Strong experience developing and architecting integrated solutions with non-functional requirements like scalability and high availability.
• Ability to write "Clean code" using Core Java, JEE, Collections, Multithreading.
• Strong experience with API and Web Services development using REST/SOAP protocols.
• Fundamental database concepts and experience with a relational database or NoSQL platforms.
• Ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries.
• Understanding of Unit testing and test coverage.
• Ability and willingness to work across multiple tools, frameworks, and technology stacks.
• Understanding of and experience with cloud platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes.
• Usage of Swagger/Open API specification to define, document, implement, and test APIs.
• Understanding of Standard, Enterprise Design Patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks like JUNIT, Cucumber, Jasmine/Mocha.
• Experience in performance tuning of applications and analyzing issues using tools like JProfiler/AppDynamics.
• Experience in performing effective code and design reviews.

• Experience in the development of scalable high-performance systems for complex analytics generation utilizing big data, AI, and machine learning techniques.
• Experience in High-Speed Messaging platforms such as KAFKA.
• Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery technologies and tools.
• Knowledge of React, Appian, BPMN, DevOps principles, and Docker Compose.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
