Overview L&W Recruiting – In Partnership With a National Plaintiffs Mesothelioma Firm is seeking a Plaintiffs Trial Attorney to join its Tampa office. This role offers the ability to work hybrid or fully remote, depending on experience and trial readiness. The firm is open to attorneys with direct asbestos litigation experience or those with strong trial backgrounds in related high-stakes practice areas such as personal injury, catastrophic injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death, product liability, toxic tort, or complex civil litigation.
Responsibilities Lead and support all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motions, and trial
Develop case strategy in collaboration with senior attorneys
Prepare clients, experts, and witnesses for testimony
Conduct courtroom advocacy, including hearings and jury trials
Manage a caseload involving complex exposure histories and high-value damages
Work cross-functionally with investigators and medical experts to build compelling cases
Who thrives in this role Attorneys With Direct Asbestos/Mesothelioma Experience
Prior work on asbestos, toxic tort, or mass tort matters
Familiarity with exposure pathways, product identification, and expert coordination
Experience handling high-volume, complex plaintiff litigation
Trial Attorneys With Highly Transferable Experience
Attorneys without asbestos experience are encouraged to apply if they have a strong trial foundation in areas such as:

What You Bring Active license to practice law in Florida (or eligibility for reciprocity)
