Job Details

Performs facility and equipment maintenance at the hospitals main campus and hospital owned off-site facilities. Examples of maintenance are: - Inspection of electrical and mechanical equipment to detect malfunctions - Cleaning of electrical and mechanical equipment (coils, motors, drain pans, etc.) - Installation of electrical circuits, piping for water and drain lines, etc. - Sound knowledge of reading and utilizing blue prints - Responds to and makes repairs from maintenance calls for blocked drain lines, malfunctioning ice machines, HVAC units, etc. - Changing oil in compressors, air filters in HVAC units, cleaning cooling towers, etc. - Inspection of wheelchairs, beds, furniture, etc. and repairing the same - Making rounds to ensure compliance with Life Safety Codes and department policies - Efficiently manages time, completes task assigned including accurate documentation - Sound understanding of using electrical testing equipment - Assist Mechanic IIs when requested.
