About this Job JOB NUMBER: 62/50695287/ DSSL/05.13.26-TRDISTRICT 62UNIT 750- HAMMOND - The District Sign Specialist Leader is located in DOTD District 62 and perform and oversee sign installation, replacement, and maintenance of signs on all State and Federal highways in accordance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). Provides guidance and oversees the work of lower-level District Sign Specialists. This position is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and must perform their duties in all types of weather. The incumbent will participate in appropriate DOTD structured training programs as required and attend continuing education classes as deemed necessary.
