Epic Piping has an exciting opportunity for a Fitter Foreman to join our Fabrication team. Epic takes pride in the quality of our work and seeks talented individuals at all skill levels.What you'll doThoroughly review scope documents, drawings, and specifications.Study project execution and tracking documents including the execution plan, safety plan, and QA/QC plan.Participate in project kick‑off and team building activities.Ensure the project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.Interface with Production Management to ensure all company, client, and project policies and procedures are adhered to.Interface with all project team members as required to establish project schedules and resolve schedule problems.Provide leadership and management for craftsmen, ensuring to organize and lay out work for crews.Ensure that materials, drawings, manpower, specifications, tools, consumables, and equipment are available when needed.Provide prioritized work activity instructions to all crews and monitor their progress.Assist with the implementation and interpretation of safety programs.Verify the maintenance of ASME, ANSI, and associated codes as required per project.Maintain strict adherence to the policies set forth in the QA/QC manual.Mentor craft personnel for professional development.Determine training needs of craft personnel and assist them in obtaining that training.Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy.Follow oral and written directions.Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor as needed.What you'll needHigh School Diploma or GED (preferred). 10+ years of welding experience may be considered in lieu of education.5+ years of experience in a fabrication or welding environment.Strong leadership and crew management skills.Knowledge of ASME, ANSI, and other applicable codes.Excellent communication and organizational skills.What we offerCompetitive insurance and benefit options.Company‑paid life insurance and long‑term disability insurance.Paid vacation and holiday time.Traditional and Roth 401(k) plans with company match.Industry‑leading training and development programs.Career growth opportunities through hands‑on training and mentorship.Supportive and collaborative work environment.As an equal opportunity employer, Epic Piping is committed to the development of its employees and strives to promote an environment that fosters personal training and development.Epic is committed to maintaining a safe, drug‑free workplace.
