As we continue to open new locations to better serve our communities, we're looking for motivated and goal-oriented individuals to join our team.We are currently accepting applications for PRN RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST positions. Candidates must be available to work at least 5 shifts per month. We have weekday shifts from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and weekend shifts from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Flexibility to work at multiple urgent care locations is required.PRN Rate $26/HrOur RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST roles are multifunctional and perform a wide variety of duties, focusing on delivering the best patient experience through x‑ray procedures. Radiologic techs will assist with patient check‑in at the front desk as needed and support the provider with triage, injections, phlebotomy, and patient care in the back office.Job Duties Prepares patient for x‑ray, explains procedures to patient/family, and prepares room, equipment, and materials. Positions patient and obtains quality diagnostic images.Develops, marks, and files x‑ray images and reports. Burns images to disc when needed.Practices ALARA to limit exposure; adjusts equipment controls, determines proper kVp and mAs.Observes patient and machine during procedure, reports unusual occurrences and documents patient condition.Prepares charts for patient appointments per established practices, documents procedures in the electronic medical record.Cleans and disinfects x‑ray room and equipment, maintains and orders DME supplies.Performs routine x‑ray exams, conducts x‑ray quality assurance tests, and maintains records.Job Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent.Completion of accredited radiology technology program.American Registry of Radiologic Technologist preferred but not required.Knowledge of specific and OSHA requirements regarding radiological procedures.Six months x‑ray experience and familiarity with routine medical procedures.Ability to accurately read and write medical terminology.Ability to escort or transport patient by wheelchair or stretcher when appropriate.Ability to work 12 shifts during the week and 8‑hour shifts on the weekend, including holiday hours as needed. Rotating weekends. Able to work at other locations when needed.Great computer skills including familiarity with electronic medical records.Typing 60 words per minute with 96% accuracy.Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills.License and Certifications Current certification and/or state licensure in radiology technology in Louisiana required.Current BLS Certification required.So come on, join our team and grow with us!
