Intralox, L.L.C. Quality Department has an opening for a Quality Assurance Engineer or Specialist to be on site in our Hammond, LA facility. This position will be scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will support our Plastics Production area. Overtime and weekend work may be required as needed.ResponsibilitiesLeads and supports critical success factors and continuous improvement effortsProvides oversight of root cause and corrective action programMonitors trends from key metrics and drives improvement using quality tools and systemsProvides oversight of technical audit programCoordinates and supports the setting and updating of product specificationsManages and improves documentation of processes and proceduresProvides oversight of implementation and maintenance of the quality training programResearches and champions the implementation of new quality technologiesEvaluates opportunities for improvements for the current Quality Management System (QMS)Maintains oversight of data analysisRequirementsUndergraduate degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) field.2 years+ work experience in a manufacturing quality environment or plastics injection molding.Basic understanding of quality concepts, quality tools, probability, statistics, engineering processes, and change management.Proficiency in advanced computer software.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.A self-managed individual who is a team player.Desired SkillsDegree in an Engineering discipline (mechanical/manufacturing preferred)Professional quality certifications (ASQ, QAI, etc.)Passion for learning and growth with a demonstrated record of self-management.Proven track record of making consistent, logical, and objective decisions using good judgment.Ability to assume good intentions and exhibit trust in workplace relationships.Strong analytical and critical problem-solving skills.Sense of urgency and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.Ability to transfer knowledge well, and simplify.This position does not qualify for Sponsorship!!!#J-18808-Ljbffr
