This individual will play a critical role in driving commissioning consistency, quality, and scalability across a rapidly expanding portfolio of complex builds. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise and a strong understanding of commissioning processes to support large-scale, multi-phase deployments while partnering closely with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders. Required Skills & Experience
• 8-10+ years of commissioning experience
• Strong background in data center environments (hyperscale preferred)
• Experience supporting GPU / AI (high-density) data centers
• Mechanical and/or electrical expertise (engineering background preferred)
• Deep understanding of:
• Commissioning lifecycle
• Troubleshooting complex systems
• Industry standards and best practices
• Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, procurement, etc.)
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and BMS/EPMS systems
Ability to develop and review commissioning documentation (scripts, test procedures, turnover packages)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with commissioning/QAQC firms such as:
• BVMC
• HPD
• Iconix
• DLB
• IPS
• Genelco
• Experience standardizing commissioning processes across large-scale portfolios
• Strong experience advising on MOPs (Methods of Procedure) and shutdown planning
• Experience onboarding and managing commissioning partners/vendors
Prior involvement in multi-site, high-growth data center expansions
