Human Resources Manager
Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Manager to lead our Human Resources team from our corporate headquarters in Hammond, Louisiana.
As a key member of our corporate office team, you will oversee daily HR operations, manage and develop a team of HR Assistants, and help shape the company's people strategies as we continue to grow. This role requires a proactive leader who is passionate about employee development, operational excellence, compliance, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 8+ HR Assistants.
- Foster a positive, high-performance culture focused on service, accuracy and accountability.
- Provide coaching, training, and professional development opportunities for HR staff and Field Management.
- Ensure consistent delivery of HR services across the organization.
Human Resources Operations
- Oversee general Human Resources functions for the department and the company.
- Manage employee relations matters, investigations, and conflict resolution.
- Direct termination processes and unemployment claims administration.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Maintain and administer HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Support employee engagement, recognition, and wellness initiatives.
Strategic HR Support
- Partner with field operations management to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, and workforce issues.
- Develop and implement HR best practices that support organizational goals.
- Assist with risk management initiatives and organizational compliance programs.
- Analyze HR trends and recommend process improvements.
Systems & Technology
- Utilize HRIS, ATS, LMS, and other HR technologies to support business objectives.
- Maintain accurate HR records and reporting.
- Leverage technology to improve efficiency and employee experience.
- Use data analysis to manage and improve the business.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR leadership experience.
- Experience supervising and developing HR staff.
- Strong working knowledge of employment law, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
- Multi-location workforce experience.
- Experience in a service-oriented or high-volume employment environment.
Work Schedule
This is an in-office leadership position based in Hammond, Louisiana.
- Full-time, salaried, exempt position
- Minimum 40 hours per week to be performed in office
- Evening, weekend, and holiday remote availability required to support business operations
Physical Requirements
- Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers, phones, printers, and scanners.
- Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats.
- Ability to make sound and timely business decisions.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer workstation.
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.
