Warehouse Associate IOur client is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate I, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.Location: Hammond, LAShift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, with some overtime as neededWhat's the Job?Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandiseRead customer orders, work orders, and shipping documents to determine items to be moved or shippedEnsure the warehouse environment is accessible and safe for all employees and visitorsComplete work in a safe manner, adhering to all safety policies and proceduresParticipate in inventory counts and assemble products as neededWhat's Needed?Basic English language proficiency (spoken and written)Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 poundsBasic computer skills and familiarity with handheld scannersAvailability to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekendsExperience in dock or warehouse operations within the transportation industry is a plus
