The Warehouse Package Sorter supports inbound receiving and cross-dock sorting operations by handling small parcels and mixed-size packages. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor and Operations Manager, this role helps maintain accurate, efficient package flow and offers an advancement path to Lead Sorter.

Responsibilities

• Sort small parcels and mixed-size packages for efficient cross-dock processing.
• Scan parcels accurately using barcode scanning equipment.
• Assist with loading and unloading packages.
• Inspect packages for visible damage or handling concerns.
• Handle inventory and support accurate package tracking.

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in warehouse operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with barcode scanning and material handling.
• Experience with package sorting and inventory control.
• Understanding of workplace safety practices.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
